What do I need to get a car?

Requirements to get a car are

  • a valid drivers license

  • must be at least 23 years old

  • proof of income
    If you have been out of work, we may be able to make an exception for you. Call us and tell us your situation.

Will I be able to get a car the same day I apply?

We do our best to get drivers in a car the same day. Generally, when we have availability, we are able to do so. Applications received after 3pm will likely have to wait until the next day.

Where is CarBros located?

What if I can’t afford to pay the deposit and first weeks rent upfront?

We understand that paying a deposit and first week’s rent upfront can be difficult when getting started or transitioning between rental companies. If you are short on cash, we can get you started on a daily rate. Give us a call and tell us your situation. We do our best to accommodate everyone’s needs.

What is the process to get a car?

We try to make getting your rental car quick and easy.
1) Quick apply using the get started button on our website.
2) Get a call from a CarBro’s team member.
3) Get approved to rent from us.
4) Drive off in your new rental.

How and when do I make my weekly payment?

We accept payments through Zelle, CashApp and Credit/Debit.

The day you pick up the car, will be your weekly pay

How much is the security deposit?

The security deposit is $250. Are you a veteran driver with over 5k rides on a ride share platform? Let us know and we will lower your deposit.

Where do I get my oil changes and routine maintenance while renting a CarBro’s vehicle?

We have designated locations through out the north-side of Chicago. Simply let us know what you need and we will make an appointment for you. You pay nothing out of pocket, we will be billed directly for services received. If one of our locations is difficult for you to make it to, we will set you up to get your oil changes some where near you.

What if I get a flat tire or need roadside assistance?

If your tire’s tread is over %30, you will be responsible for replacement/repair of the tire. If your tire’s tread is under %30, we will pay for tire replacement fully. During business hours, If you are in need of a jump start, lockout service or fuel delivery, simply give us a call and we will get roadside assistance out to you at no cost. Afterhours, you must use your own roadside assistance at your own expense. Uber/Lyft drivers get free roadside assistance through the app. We also recommend getting AAA membership.

What if I am in an accident? What is my deductible?

In case of an accident, call us immediately. Make sure you take photos of damages to all cars involved, the other driver/s insurance card and driver’s license. Do not admit fault as that is for the insurance company’s to decide.

If you are found to be at fault for the accident, you will be responsible for paying $1000 deductible.

How is CarBro’s ensuring safety for drivers during the COVID-19 outbreak ?

We are deep cleaning all our vehicles after every return with extra attention paid to all high touch areas including seat belts, key fobs, steering wheels, interior and exterior door handles, trunk release, dashboard, rearview mirror, cupholders and seat surfaces amongst other high touch areas.

If you are a rideshare driver and concerned about having passengers in close proximity, request a screen from us to create a separation between you and your riders.

We are offering curbside pick up for vehicles and all application processes are being done remotely.
